Understanding Customer Portal
How customers can utilize the customer portal to check-out with ease.
Your Customers can create a unique log-in for your PaySimple system in order to check-out with ease, update their payment methods, and view past Orders and Billing Schedules. Customers can also pay any unpaid Orders from within the last 90 days. You can access your Customer Portal link on the home page of your PaySimple account. The link will be formatted as: https://[customURL].mypaysimple.com/myaccount Your Custom URL can be found and edited in your Business Settings page.

To set-up or log-in with their existing username, Customers can simply select the “Log In” button at the top right of any of your Payment Forms or Online Stores.
Customers will then be prompted to enter in their existing username or setup a new username.
Customer Portal Home Page
Once logged in, Customers will be brought to the Customer Portal home page by default. From this page, Customers have the option to do the following:
a. View past Orders
b. View next bill information
c. Change payment method on Billing Schedule
d. View all upcoming bill dates
e. Add new payment method to profile
Customers are not allowed to make any changes to their profile information on either the "Overview" tab or the "Addresses" tab. These pages are view only.

Customers can access their profile page by selecting the "Profile" tab on the left-hand menu of the Customer Portal. Displayed on this page will be an overview of their contact information. This includes their username, email address, and phone number.

From the "Overview" tab, Customers can toggle over to the "Addresses" tab. This tab will display their current billing & shipping addresses in the system.
Customers are not allowed to make any changes to their profile information on either the "Overview" tab or the "Addresses" tab. These pages are view only.
Customer Portal Upcoming Page
Customers can view all upcoming payments by selecting the "Upcoming" tab on the left-hand menu of the Customer Portal. On this page, all upcoming Billing Schedules and recurring Invoices will be displayed.

Customers can also view more details on each Billing Schedule (item, billing terms, etc.) by clicking on each schedule ID. From the Billing Schedule details page, Customers also have the option to update the payment method associated with that Billing Schedule. Customers cannot make any other changes to the Billing Schedule from this page.
Customer Portal History Page
Customers can view their past Orders by selecting the "History" tab on the left-hand menu of the Customer Portal. On this page, all past Orders will be displayed. Customers can also view more details on each Order (item, fees, etc.) by clicking on each Order ID. They can also click on the Order ID of any unpaid Order and reprocess a new Transaction.
