Looking for a way to trigger emails to lead sources via process automation
I work for a company whose primary focus is house paint, but we also sell window treatments. I work for the in-home window treatment consultation department, and we use MS to manage the leads that are sent in to us by our 30+ paint stores. Occasionally we get a referral from a store and find that the wrong phone number has been sent with it. We recently set up an automated process that sends an email to the customer if we set the lead status to "wrong number" to try to get in touch with them that way. I was hoping that we could add an additional step to our "wrong number" activity process that would trigger an email to the referral store to let them know that the number was wrong, to have them double check that they typed the number correctly and keep an eye out for the customer in case they call or come back in to see why they haven't been contacted. We make note of what store each lead comes from (as lead source primary and secondary) so I had hoped there would be a way to attach the store email addresses to each option and automate the sending of that email, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be something that is possible. If something like this could be worked out in future updates, that would be really useful for a number of reasons.
