Multi-Day Production Appt Options

It would be very advantageous to be able to have "recurrence" option for Production appointments. 

When there are multi-day installs it would be helpful to have the ability to see the full appt details on each of the install days, not just an "all day" single line of info across the days.

For example: Client: S. Wilson's job is a 2 day install. We want to be able to schedule it for Nov 2, 7-5 and Nov 3, 7-5.  There is currently no way to do this with having to retype all of the information and jump through multiple drop-downs, etc to get this to work.   With this you are back to the single line of detail, so you have to click on it to see all of the detail.

Basically, I am wondering why we can't have the same capabilities within the "Production" Appt Type as we do within the "General" Appt type.
