Adding Activities to the Call Center
In the Basic Call Center we will be Manually adding activities with a filter. This is the same article as Call Center - Manually adding activities with a filter. First you will need to set the filter up to show all of the people you want to call. We have a great MarketSharp Mini on this: MS Minis - Creating a Filter Then when the filter is setup you can click on Schedule Activities from the Activities List tab. When scheduling activities for the Call Center, each activity must have the Type set to Call Out, the Assigned To set to Unassigned, and the Due By date must be today or in the past. The Activity Reference is a very important field with the call center because it is the only thing that exists through out the entire call center process. It is recommended that you name your Activity Reference the same thing as your Get Next Call Maintenance Campaign. For this example we are going to use the Activity Reference: "Call Center Example"
