Appointment Rules
Appointment Rules allow for an
Activity Process to be assigned to a specific
Appointment Result. Many businesses have post-sale marketing processes, which can be carried out via an
Activity Process. Assigning the post sale marketing process to the demo/sold appointment result, (or any sold appointment result) will trigger the
Activity Process, automatically creating all activities associated with the post sale marketing process for the contact when an appointment is marked sold.
Assign an Activity Process to Appointment Results:
Click on the
Admin link from the drop-down in the upper right corner of MarketSharp
Within the
Automation Rules box, click the
Appointment Rules link
Click the
Add Activity Process for an Appointment Result button
Choose the
Appointment Result from the drop-down on the left side of the screen:
If applicable, choose a
Result Reason from the drop-down in the middle (otherwise, just leave it as
Any). This would be used in an instance where a user wants
one Appointment Result to trigger
multiple Activity Processes; they would be differentiated by the different
Result Reasons.
Choose the
Activity Process from the drop-down on the right side of the screen
Once all options are chosen, click
Save at the bottom of the screen.
Now when an appointment is resulted using that particular
Appointment Result, the corresponding
Activity Process will trigger and attach to the
Contact Record.
