Production Tasks
The Production module allows you to create production tasks and process steps required to complete the job. It tracks start/end dates, work crews assigned, and job completion.
Add a Production Appointment/Task:
Click the
Production link on the
Jobs Tab of the Contact Record.
NOTE: Production Tasks cannot be added or scheduled from the
Production Tab, it must be done from the Contact Record.
Select the
Project Manager, Work Crew, and/or
Worker(s)
Click
Add New Task
The
Description indicates what the actual task is,
Assign To is who is completing the task,
Expected Start/End Dates are when the task should be started and completed, and
Actual Start/End Dates are when the task was actually started and completed. Activity Processes can also be attached to a
Production Task.
If this
Production Task should appear on the calendar, then put a check mark in the box next to the
Calendar Icon so that it turns blue. Whomever is in the
Assign To box is whose calendar in which the
Production Task will appear.
Production Tasks that are scheduled over multiple days (as in the above image) will appear on the calendar in the
All Day Events section. Click the blue
Calendar Icon to jump right to the event.
Hovering your mouse over the event will show the details, such as the product and the customer name and address.
If the
Production Task only lasts the span of one day, then the start and end times can be configured on the calendar.
NOTE: It will default to however
Production Appointments are configured in the
Admin Section.
Add a Production Process:
Click the
Production link on the
Jobs Tab of the Contact Record.
NOTE: Production Tasks cannot be added or scheduled from the
Production Tab, it must be done from the Contact Record.
Select the
Project Manager, Work Crew, and/or
Worker(s)
Select the
Production Process from the drop-down, then click
Add Process
This will populate the tasks as well as the
Expected Start/End Dates based upon how this was configured when the
Production Process was created. Click
Save.
