How to Set Up Employee Sharing Among Child Databases:
Login to your parent company in MarketSharp.
Click on the
Admin link from the drop-down in the upper right hand corner of MarketSharp.
NOTE: Employees that will be shared throughout the MDM companies should only be added in the Admin section of the parent company. Adding the same employee in the child companies will cause an error when sharing the employee.
Find the
Employee Setup box. Click the
Employee Maintenance link.
Find the employee that should be shared down. Click the blue key icon to the left of their name.
Click on the words
Feature Permissions
Make sure they have access to
Corporate Admin
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click
Save Permissions.
Click on the
Corporate Admin link from the drop-down in the upper right corner of MarketSharp.
Click on
Employee Sharing
Choose the employee that should be shared via the drop-down list
Put a check mark in the
Shared and
Active boxes for the companies in which the employee should have access
Click
Save
The employees should now have the
Corporate Admin link in the drop-down the upper right of their screen to easily switch between companies within the group (without the need to log in and out each time).
