Ordering and Tracking Roof Measurement Reports
This document will walk you through how to create a MarketSharp Roof Measurement Report for leads and customers in your system.
1) From the Lead or the Customer record under the “Inquires & Appointments” or the “Jobs” tab you will see a blue house icon for each inquiry/job
2) Clicking on the blue house icon will open a window that:
- Shows any prior measurements tied to the inquiry
- Allows you to order a measurement report
- Allows you to view the contact's attachments where the report is stored
3) Clicking “Order Roof Measurement” will allow you to
- Name the Project
- Select what type of report you are looking for
- Add any notes that may help with the measurement report
- Confirm the Address
- Change the address if you notice that it is not correct
- Purchase the Report
The price of the report is a flat rate and will be displayed at the time of purchase
NOTE: the “Google” and “MapQuest” links. This will tell you where the location of the address is set for measuring. The more accurate the location is on the actual house the better. If address or location needs to change the address will need to be updated on the “Inquiry” address
4) After the order has been placed you should notice that the blue house icon has a check mark letting you know a report exists (or is in progress) for the selected inquiry
5) Once you see the check mark on the house, you can click through to see your order details as they process
6) Once the Measurement Report is completed, the employee that ordered the measurement will receive an email that the report is complete.
7) You should now see the status in the “View Roof Measurements” screen and the report has been attached to the “Attachments” section in MarketSharp
8) When you view your Report, you will see:
- Project Name
- Client information
- Company contact info
- Company Logo
