Edit Print File "Package Not Found Error"

Print File Error

If you are trying to print or edit any type of Word based documents in MarketSharp, and you get a 'File Path' or 'Package Not Found' Error, you may need to change the default programs in Windows.

Default programs are what an App needs to be able to open in on your computer. For MarketSharp, print files are saved as .doc files. They need to be opened in Microsoft Word.

Following are the steps to set up Word as the default program for MarketSharp print files.

3. Go to Choose default Apps by file type. 

4.)Look for .doc file type- they are in alphabetical order.

5.) Select Word: see below

You won't have to click save. Now you can go to your print file, service order, work order, or proposal and try printing/editing. It will now open in Word.
