Mass Delete Activities

This tutorial will show you how to Mass Delete Activities on the Activity List. This is very helpful in the event you wanted to send out an activity to a specific number of customers/leads and inadvertently chose too many or chose the wrong filter.

Step One: Navigate to the Contacts Tab on the upper level blue bar.

For this example we want to send customers in the past month an email out with a review link for the customers to to be able to leave us a review on our Google Review Page.

We will have to build the Filter of sales in the past month so let's do that.

Click on Customer List View

Next, click Add on the Filter line

Copy the settings from below and make sure to hit save. (Hit GET COUNT to give yourself an idea on how many results you have, you may have more or less than the amount shown in my screenshot)

(For the dates, set it to what your current previous month is when viewing this tutorial. Just make sure the before month is prior to that and the after is the subsequent month).

Now lets click on the Activity List on the upper level blue tab.

The Activity List is great for being able to check on multiple activities without having to access individual records.

We want to be able to assign an activity to the filter we just made. To do that, click on the Schedule Activities button.

Copy the settings from the screenshot below and the click save (For the due date set it to what your current date is when viewing this tutorial).

Now the Activity List will display all the contacts from our filter (if it doesn't then make sure you have the due date drop down set for today).

For the next part of the exercise let's say you only wanted to grab say 20 clients from this filter instead of the huge amount you have now. Let's delete all these now unnecessary activities so that way these will not get in the way of your day to day operations and assignments.

At the top right of this screen is a box that says Tagged. Tagging is a way of marking contacts and it will allow you to do different things such as, making a filter, choosing a certain number of contacts out of a filter in order to send said tagged contacts information or schedule activities, or in this case to massively delete unwanted activities.

Click Tagged All Filtered

You will see the 0 Tagged is now The amount of the Filter. Now all we have to do now is click on Delete Tagged.

Once you do that, there will be a dialog box that pops up asking for confirmation that you want to delete.

Click Confirm
