Have you ever added more calls to your calling queue? Created a fresh calling queue, or perhaps added a rule to a calling queue? If you have and don't see any direct changes happening or no extra calls being made, chances are you have not updated your Call Center Processor.
This tutorial will show you how to update this processor and get you back on the phones.
(*Note, if you reduce your call frequency in a calling queue or plan to, please contact MS support once you do make these changes so that we can ensure your contacts in the calling queue can continue to be called).
Navigate to the Admin Page.
Locate the header for Call Center Setup and click the link for Call Center Dashboard
On this dashboard you will notice quick links to things like assignments, queues and other sections of the call center that allow you to quickly jump to those sections without having to go back to the admin page.
At the top of the dashboard, there is a System Status section and this will be the main focus of this article.
On the line item with your company information you will see the Calling Queue Processor and it will display the last update date. The last line you will find a link that says Force Update. This will allow to make immediate changes to your call center to reflect any change you make to your call center. Otherwise it will auto update this at a certain time, so this will make it faster for you to make sure changes in effect.
To force this update, just click the link and it will began to update the call center processor.
You will know its finished as the last updated time will reflect a time frame more current to the time you pressed the force update option.
This concludes this tutorial.
