Emailing Review Link to Customers

If you want to create an activity process that will send customers a review link so that customers can leave a review about your company (e.g. Google Reviews) then follow the steps below.

Step One: Create the email template. You can find that by going to your Admin page and find the group for Email Setup and choose the link for MarketSharp Email Templates.

Next you will want to click on Add Template if you have not created a template for this yet. 

You can name this template whichever you like and include any information you want displayed. You can also add merge fields to display information such as a customer's name to make this email more personable. 

Once you are satisfied with your email, make sure to hit the save button. I'd hate for you to go through all this work twice. 

Step Two: Create and Edit an Activity Process. You can review this Link before continuing to enrich yourself a bit in the steps we are going to take. 

Back on the Admin page let's go to the Group called Process Setup and click the link for Activity Process

and we want to create a new process for the review so click on Add Process

Make sure to name it something relevant to type of task it is being used for so in the example here I named it Complete Job Review. 

and for the type, we want this to be an email out because the process is to email the customer this link once the job is complete. 

For the reference we can choose Job Completion so that way we know what this process was setup for. The last step on this screen is to click the drop down for Email Template and choose the correct template that will be sent to the customer which should be the template with the review link. 

Now that we have wired the house, its time to turn the power on. 

Our Final Setup will be going back to the admin page and we want to look for the group Automation Rules and click the link for Job Rules. 

from there we will want to click on the drop down to the right of complete and choose our Activity Process that we made.

Save and give it a test.
